We are looking for a motivated, talented, and enthusiastic Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to strengthen our team. In this role, you will combine technical expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) with project engineering responsibilities, contributing to the design, execution, and optimization of our process integrated solution related to Carbon Capture or Biogas Upgrading.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a technically challenging environment with room for professional growth, ownership, and responsibility.
Your Role
You will work at our office in Alphen a/d Rijn as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in the full engineering cycle — from conceptual design through commissioning and beyond. In this role, your responsibilities will be: Design, specify and engineer best installation practices for electrical and instrumentation systems based on industry standards or client specifications.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, quotations, drawings and specifications.
- Responsible for the selection of process instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, temperature) and electrical components (motors, VSD, etc.) in accordance with relevant standards.
- Responsible for the technical integration of our system and the control system (PLC)
- Support commissioning, testing and start-up activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety and regulations
- Being a support to our project manager in the project execution in
- Creating and following up the planning
- procurement process
- Quality control
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, industrial automation, or instrumentation;
- Experience in electrical & instrument engineering preferably in the energy sector (2-4 years)
- Interest in or experience with Project engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team; team player who is motivated to take on a technical challenge.
- hands-on approach to execution, self-starter with creative and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills, in English and preferably Dutch, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
