About Green Gas & Liquids

Are you a Process Engineer with several years of experience, looking for a career where you can solve challenging problems in renewable technology and the energy transition? At Green Gas & Liquids, we’re passionate about shaping a cleaner future through green energy. Our mission is to reduce environmental emissions, and we currently focus on cutting CO₂ emissions with our innovative, proven technologies.

We’re looking for a motivated, talented Process Engineer to strengthen our team. We help accelerate the energy transition by transforming waste streams into valuable products. Our process technologies concentrate on reducing CO₂ emissions.

This role offers a technically challenging environment with room for professional growth, ownership, and responsibility.

Your Role

You’ll work at our office in Alphen aan den Rijn as part of a multidisciplinary team. You’ll play a vital role across the full engineering cycle, from conceptual design through commissioning and beyond. In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the design, execution, and optimization of our integrated process solutions for Carbon Capture or Biogas Upgrading
  • Design, specify, and engineer integrated process systems based on best engineering practices, industry standards, and client specifications
  • Develop process design and safety documentation — simulations, Basis of Design, PFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balances, cause and effect — for integrated process systems that comply with safety practices, codes, and standards
  • Select process equipment
  • Review technical documentation, quotations, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare technical documentation for the control system
  • Support commissioning, testing, and start-up activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, and regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering or a similar discipline
  • 4+ years of experience as a process engineer, preferably in the energy and gas treatment sector
  • A multidisciplinary way of thinking and acting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team; a team player motivated to take on technical challenges
  • A hands-on approach, with creative and analytical skills as a self-starter
  • Good communication skills in English, and preferably Dutch

What We Offer

We foster a dynamic culture where your ideas hold value, your contributions make a genuine impact, and we nurture your professional growth. We believe in giving you an environment where you can take on as much responsibility as you’re ready for.

  • A competitive gross monthly salary based on a full-time 40-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience
  • 27 days of holiday
  • A pension plan
  • A flexible work environment

We look forward to welcoming a dedicated, motivated colleague who shares our vision of a greener, more sustainable future.
