For more than 65 years Groot Zevert is a service partner for agricultural companies in the Eastern part of The Netherlands. Since 2016 they operate a biogas treatment facility that produces 11 mln Nm3 of biogas from manure and other feedstocks. The bio-Methane is used in a dairy processing plant of FrieslandCampina in Borculo.
GG&L supplied a Hydrogen Sulfide removal system based on our Laminol technology. It reduces the H2S levels in the biogas from 2,000 ppm to below 3 ppm. The installation protects compressors and other critical parts of the biogas upgrading plant from corrosion. It also allows the biogas to be injected into a pipeline and transported to FrieslandCampina.
