A Safer Chemistry at the Core
The solvent sits at the heart of the Galloxol® process. It is safe and biodegradable. Many amine-based capture systems rely on chemicals that bring their own handling, toxicity and disposal concerns. That difference matters twice over: it simplifies compliance for plant operators, and it reduces chemical risk in CO₂ that enriches crops people will eat.
No Liquefaction Means Lower Costs
Removing liquefaction changes more than the process. It changes the economics. Liquefaction equipment is a major capital line item. It consumes significant electricity. It carries a recurring maintenance burden, from routine servicing to eventual overhaul of rotating parts.
Galloxol® delivers CO₂ in gaseous form straight from the capture unit. A grower pipes it directly into the greenhouse. The gas moves from boiler exhaust to crop enrichment in one continuous process. Where the grower doses on-site, the liquefaction section can stay out of the plant. Green Gas & Liquids includes it only where storage or off-site supply calls for it.
A Proven Track Record
Galloxol® is not a newly commercialised concept. Green Gas & Liquids has run plants on this technology since 2019. Four systems operate today across the horticulture and biogas industries in the Netherlands, Italy and Austria.
